Question: Can you answer about Nikon D80/Fuji S2pro with TC16A?

I actually just ordered the S2 on Ebay. I have a bunch of Nikon AI non-autofocus lenses (all faster than the required F2.8 required for the TC16A). But they’re 1000 miles away in storage. I wonder if the metering will work with the TC16A attached, as it does have the electrical contacts? Also, what will the proportion be? I think the coefficient is 1.5 from the standard to the digital body — 50mm becoming 75mm and so on. But with the tele-converter being an additional 1.6X, what is the final proportion? Thanks.

And by the way, the reason for this (and buying a relative antique) is lack of funds, so although I will get a 50mm 1.8 D, but can’t afford any others right now.

Any experience about the S2 I should look out for would be appreciated. Ebay ad says “takes pictures but shutter-button sometimes sticks”, which is why is was cheap. Fingers crossed, you know. And there was a money-back guarantee, so we’ll see. But what could cause this, I wonder…

Answer: No, but I can be a bit jealous! lol
