Question: What is the meaning of Putting a Hoon on my lens?

Hello guys, I just brought a 58mm flower hood, and I put it on my 15-55 Canon (58mm) lens, and I am quite disappointed, because when I tried to get the full scene, the hood actually created two black corners.

What a hood does for you? Why people put that on?

THANKS A LOT!

Answer: Hood does a number of things

1-Vignettes corners at wide angles (the black corners you are getting
-It’s a common and pretty effect, many times applied to a photo in Photoshop
2-Protects the glass of the lens from scratches/drops. If you bang the lens on a corner (God forbid!) it helps protect it from damage, or people bumping it, etc.
3- Reduces Lens Flare when shooting a subject closer to a light source.
-Ideally, sun at 90degrees is nice. If for some reason, its less than 90 degrees, you can start getting yucky (or good) lens flares, depending on how you want photos to look
-Your hood prevents this from happening.

To use the hood and not get vignetting, don’t shoot at wide angles (15mm), only telephoto lengths (55mm) in your cases.

Question: What are the plants that you would recommend for a "poison" garden?

I Fingerhut and cowl, but I am interested me for other perennials. I keep them in a specially fenced off area, so that children and animals can not get. And NO!, I am not looking to poison anyone, I would just like the different flowers, and it is somewhat unusual to have in a garden. Many witches in this section, so she thought it would have to know because they are familiar plants.

Answer: lilies, cornflowers, buttercups, rhododendron, nightshade, thorn apple … plus the fact to remember that some good parts of plants and poisonous parts on the same plant, have as tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, cabbage, broccoli, etc., a quick Google is the top too much information. Be very careful what you grow and how you deal with it.
