Question: How do I get a codec for my Kodak camera so I download videos to my computer and put the videos on a disk?

I have a Kodak m1063 digital camera. I tried to download videos from the camera into my computer and burn them on a dvd disk. I was using windows movie maker on Windows Vista. It says it cannot import it because my computer doesn’t have the right codec to support that file. I downloaded Quicktime, and it didnt work. What should I do? I really need help!

I may have a solution to your problem. I also had problems with video formats and after searching, I found a free software called Any Video Converter – www.any-video-converter.com

It can convert any type of video format into a very wide variety of video formats, including WMV for usage on Windows Movie Maker. That software is really powerful. It could even detect videos from my mobile phone and convert them to wmv.

When you download the software, drag your kodak videos into the screen section in the middle and then convert. I am not sure if “any video converter” can convert your kodak videos but it hasn’t failed me so far. I’d also like to know the outcome. Question: why is it not let me record videos longer on my Kodak camera?

ok I just got a Kodak camera for x-mas. my mother has basically the exact same one except mine is a different color. the camera to my mother it can record videos really long. on mine it saves only 15 seconds. why? and is there anyway I can to record longer videos. thank you!

Answer: Yes, its all about memory. you only have enough memory for short videos. You need to get a memory greater map.

I recently purchased a Canon SX100IS, and I use regular Energizer Alkaline batteries to run it. However, the batteries are used up really quickly, and I don’t want to keep buying the batteries over and over again. I found a Battery and Charger Kit on Canon’s website this morning, and supposedly it provides me with batteries and a charger for $58. So can I use those special rechargeable batteries over and over again for as long as I wish? Or do they have a life limit? Like a certain number of recharging cycles before they stop working? Please help! If I can’t find a solution to this, I might have to switch cameras, because I cannot afford to keep buying batteries every week! Answer: NiMH rechargeable batteries should outlast your camera, unless you recharge them once a day.

You’re better off getting Eneloop batteries and a charger, as they are cheaper and will not self-discharge as quickly.

Question: Nyko rechargeable battery with quick charge kit?

Some time ago I bought the Nyko version of the Play & Charge Kit for my Xbox 360 because it was cheaper than the regular. The battery charger and both look exactly like normal. Now I want to buy a Quick Charge Kit. Does anyone know if Nyko battery pack, which looks exactly like normal rechargeable batteries, will work in the Quick Charge Kit? Just bumping in hopes of an answer or two. yes that installed them. they dont work. oh well.
