Question: Can i use this accessory with my Sony DCR SR47 even though it does not have night shot?
will this make shooting in dark conditions better with my camera or will it have no effect?

cheers
Answer: To prevent IR from being an issue with the sensors in digital cameras and camcorders it is normally deliberately blocked. Hence if your camera does not have Sony’s NightShot(r) mode the device will have no effect on your low light photos and videos.

Question: What are the side effects from camera flash directly in eye?
Me and my friends are having a sleepover and we were just being silly and taking pictures in the dark bedroom right in people’s faces to make them lose their night-vision.
And then my friend Katelyne put the flash thing on the camera directly over her eye and took a picture and she told us that she felt the hot-ness from the flash and then now ever since she has had like a blind spot in her eye where she can’t see anything.
Do you know any of the side effects of what could happen to her vision from it, or are we just over-reacting. Thanks!
Answer: That was stupid.
It may be permanent depending on the color. If it is red it is there for a while. The camera flash wasn’t built to be held directly over the eye.So depending if she recovers yes it will be permanent.

Question: How can I take my photos without flash, but have good lighting?I got a cheap digital camera. It doesn't have flash but when the lighting is good the pictures are great. the thing is, indoor pictures are always a "Hot Mess" because the lighting sucks. Suggestions?
Answer: I do not really have a good answer to this elsewhere, using the hot lights (Mainly lights on, such as lamps). Shooting near a window, etc.
