Question: Stay away from Asians/What a hypocrite?

After church, I went to eat at a Chinese restaurant with my family. The waiter, who I took to be a teen, was really cute and we had a nice, casual conversation. I casually told my *adult cousin* that I was done dating blk guys in case my current relationship doesn’t carry on to college in the fall (and btw, he’s half black, half lakota native american….and I was referring to the black guys before him) because it’s usually a roller coaster ride of hell and heartache. I joked lightheartedly and told her that my Asian relationships in the past were pretty good and I’d probably “go Asian” again at college.

This lady then tells me, “Stick to your blk and native american people….you and Asian people come from different backgrounds. Chances are it wouldn’t work.”

I stared at this lady because SHE married a CHINESE man had a Blasian daughter. Not to mention she knows I am PART JAPANESE.

How am I supposed to deal with this?

Answer: I understand this completely. It makes me hate people, sometimes, to be honest with you.

I’m 1/4 Chinese and I look “white” to the untrained eye but just about every Asian person I’ve ever met has been able to point it out and asks me within five minutes of meeting me.

I’ve had older Asian and White people tell me I am “lucky” that the Asian in me has been “watered down” and I need to be with a “nice, White boy and not a misogynistic Asian boy”. Yes, there are great White guys out there. There are great Asian guys out there, too. And I don’t appreciate being told who I should have kids with by racist jerks.

be flat blk enamel on hold rather well or do u have a better idea?

Question: What are the Best HDD Camcorders in the market today?

what are the best HDD camcorders, NOT HD but HDD?

I went to stores and the one that caught my attention was the JVC GZ-MG360 because it looks slimmer and way better than rest of the HDD cameras and was black with Konica Minolta Lens.

I saw the Sony, Panasonic and Canon and they all look bigger and with no style, that didn’t caught my attention. they had pretty much same specs.

I’m only judging for the appearance and looks but I would like to know which HDD is better, although i know for many people looks and size matter a lot.

Answer: Presuming you actually mean the best as in “best available video quality”, then the BEST HDD camcorders available are actually miniDV tape based camcorders with an external hard drive connected via firewire.

If all you are concerned about is what the camcorder looks like as opposed to the quality of the video they capture, then you already know, “they had pretty much same specs” so all you need to do is flip a coin a couple of times.

Maybe there is some sort of other feature differentiator that is interesting to you… for example, many of the Sony camcorders have an infrared emitter for capturing monochromatic video in zero-light (“SuperNightShot”) or can burst high speed recording (“Smooth Slow Record”) that the others do not have. Check the model number’s specs at the manufacturer’s web site to determine if special features are available on a particular camcorder…

Question: Minolta / Sony Alpha to Canon EOS Adapter?

I'm thinking of using a Minolta A lens on my Canon EOS DSLR, anyone know where I can find the card or how you can do (oops simple and transplantation) as my search was fruitless. Edwin most appreciated, thanks for the suggestion, I afraid that with 2 adapters would make too much difference between the rear element of the lens' and the frame of the sensor. PhotoAcute & Edwin, thanks, I'm using CZS be different and on my Leica R Canon and I was thinking to try the AF 135 F2.8 T4.5 STF and not to obtain an A900 body only for it. Are already loaded with 2 systems: ((

Answer: My research has not found a Minolta Maxxum A-mount for Canon EOS adapter. Here are those that are: Canon FD-mount for Canon EOS-mount Nikon F-mount for Canon EOS-mount Leica-R mount for Canon FD-mount Canon EOS-A-mount for Minolta Maxxum mount M42 screw-mount for Canon EOS-mount Minolta MC / MD-mount for Canon EOS-mount I suppose something could be cobbled together by using a Maxxum mounting screw-mount adapter M42 and a M42 screw-mount adapter for Canon EOS-mount, but its probability of being poor. Its probably better if you buy Canon lenses.
