For my ipod mini, I have a Belkin case that I love, but there aren’t many for ipod video that I could find.

Answer: I would recommend the type to cover the display as well. Some cover just the body and thus the displays get scratched. In any case, it is safe to use the protective film for both the body and the display. You can buy one for a few bucks.
